31 Tags of Halloween: Day 16

While going through the mess on my desk in the Halloween room, I found one last haunted house die cut! My first thought was to hoard it because it's my precious , but a friend loved the house on another tag and she wanted more tags from me so another haunted house tag she will have! I gathered together my tag, Distress Ink in Carved Pumpkin, Forest Moss, and Black Soot. I used Distress Collage Medium to glue the house in place and Tim Holtz Halloween Trimmings for the string. First I inked the spot where my house windows would be in the Carved Pumpkin. I dry fitted the house over the orange to make sure it fit right. Next, I inked the rest of the card in Forest Moss. I liked the color, but wanted a brighter green too. I'm a champion of 'making do,' so I grabbed Lucky Clover and highlighted around the orange and blended it into the rest of the card. Maker's Monday: Spooky Witches Tag

I am on a tag spree! This one didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I can mess with it later and hopefully make it better! Supplies: 1 craft tag (I used Ranger Inkssentials, size #8, manila tags) Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Black Soot 1 Tim Holtz Witches Paperdoll 1 Tim Holtz Spooky ephemera tag Glossy Accents Tools: Water brush  Tim Holtz Blending Tool and pad Heat tool Additional Items: Tim Holtz Distress Marker (black) Foam dots Fine glitter (I used Martha Stewart Mica glitter) Instructions: 1.  I brushed water onto a tag and dabbed Twisted Citron stain into the center of the tag and dabbed Mowed Lawn around the outer edge.
