31 Tags of Halloween: Day 2

Well, lunchtime was one whirlwind of crafting! I grabbed supplies this morning, not 100% sure what the tag was going to be, but I knew I wanted to use some cut-outs. I have this neat little EK Tools punch with a snake, a spider, and a bat on it. I threw that in my bag, unsure what the day would hold. I flipped through the Tim Holtz Halloween stack of paper and saw a mottled-looking black design that I thought would work well. I punched and punched until I had a respectable stack of creepy things. The bats appealed to me today so I grabbed all of them and set them aside. for the tag, I opted to use Distress ink in Stormy Sky and Black Soot. I inked the blue first and then filled in with black and edged the tag in black as well. Next I picked out some Tim Holtz Halloween Clippings stickers that I felt went with the bats and the colors. 31 Tags of Halloween Day 1

I've been tag crazy the last few months and it led me to think I should make a tag each day of October and share it here on the blog and call it (wait for it...) 31 Tags of Halloween. I know, it probably has been done before, but not by me. Day one is a tag and mystical device as well. Better than a fidget spinner, you can ask this tag a question and it just might give you an answer! My supplies included a tag, a Halloween ephemera palmistry piece, Distress inks in Wilted Violet and Stormy Sky as well as my usual Black Soot. I used Black Archival ink, Glossy Accents, blending tool with felt, letter stamps (not Tim Holtz), a water brush, some Tim Holtz gears and a game spinner.
