I'm back in the land of the living today but didn't really have the time to take step-by-step photos of today's tag. Probably a good thing because my fingers were all inky and I would have gotten it all over my phone. Today's tag consists of Tim Holtz Halloween paper stash (ravens), Broomsticks, Typography letters, Halloween trimmings, and Distress Inks in Crushed Olive and Black Soot. First, I traced and cut out my tag (including the hole!) onto the raven paper and glued it onto the original tag. Next, I did a dry fit of the broomstick and letters. I added Crushed Olive to the letters to give them a nice slime green tone and glued them in place with Glossy Accents. When the letters were dry, I added Glossy Accents to the back of the broom and  held it in place. I edged the tag with Black Soot. Today was off to a bad start with my alarm not going off. Good thing I have a cat that likes to scream in my face to wake me up... After showering and packing up my lunch, I grabbed a whole bunch of craft supplies and decided to hope for the best with today's tag. Since I have time before work, that's when most of my crafty magic happens. I grabbed a tag and eyed the Tim Holtz Wishbones and decided one of his Halloween paper dolls needed to be holding one. I sifted through the package until I found the perfect witchy woman. I put the wishbone on top of her hand but didn't like how it looked. I grabbed my razor knife and carefully cut around her hand and slid the wishbone under it. Perfect! I wanted the tag to look dirty and moldy so I chose Distress inks in Forest Moss, Vintage Photo, and of course Black Soot.  Glossy Accents was again my glue of choice and I used the Tim Holtz Halloween Clippings stickers and his black tinsel Trimmings.
